演講綱要:
Walter Benjamin, in the 1930s, claimed that technical reproduction of artworks irrevocably destroys their uniqueness, or aura. This implies that art can no longer serve a cultic function in the political sphere of modern mass societies determined by technical production. Thus, Benjamin criticized the fascistic leader cult as false aestheticization of the political. The argument for this criticism, however, has to be emended. It is just the sense for uniqueness of artworks but not its alleged destruction caused by technical reproduction which allows criticizing false aestheticization.
