Non-Tenure Track Faculty Position at Institute of Philosophy, National Sun Yat-sen University

The Institute of Philosophy at National Sun Yat-sen University in Kaohsiung, Taiwan (R.O.C.), invites applications for a non-tenure track faculty position (Assistant Professor or above). The appointment is to be effective on August 1, 2026.

Qualification:

1. Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree in philosophy-related fields.
2. Candidates should be able to teach in both Mandarin and English.
3. Candidates should be willing to teach courses in English.

Research field:

Contemporary Continental Philosophy (preferably in the area of Contemporary German Philosophy).

Application Documents:

1. Detailed curriculum vitae.
2. List of publications.
3. Ph.D. diploma ( including a photocopy of R.O.C. official authentication), and certificate/evidence of held academic positions.
4. Doctoral thesis and representative recent publications (within five years).
5. Three teaching subjects and course syllabi. You may consult the course structure of the Institute of Philosophy.
6. Three recommendation letters.
